 I'm trying to compile the GNOME desktop using Garnome 0.28.3 and I have run into some problems.

a) $HOME/garnome/bin/intltoolize not found.

  Solution: go to gnome/intltool, make install

b) Some parse errors. Obviously my copy of gcc does not support declaration of variable at any place but only
at beginnig of block.

  Solution: Cut&Paste

c) Just now it fails trying to compile eog.

More specifically this compilation fails:

Just about all the *_DISABLE_DEPRECATED issues will be fixed in the next
GNOME and GARNOME releases, which will most likely be in the next day (I
previously said 12 hours, but that was before New Year's, so...)

Another way to fix this would be to put the version number in the
cookie names. This way you could just change the version number and it
would rebuild.

Great language binding example apps

Hi all,

Can someone suggest some things that sound useful / fun / worth testing on
the gtkmm apps list? I'd like to have great examples of stuff that use the
GNOME (or GTK+) language bindings in GARNOME, and currently we only have 1
gtkmm app, regexxer.
