I want to know possibility of below operation for POP account.

- Is It possible to Create folder under pop account ??
- Is It possible to Delete folder under pop account ??
- Is It possible to Rename folder under pop account ??

If any of the question answer is YES then please let me know how it is handle in tinymail

According to my knowledge POP will not provided access to do all those operation but still it is possible to manage all the operation by doing handling in your E-mail client.

Ex. : Evolution use local provider to handle all above operation for POP account. (NOTE : folder will not be created /deleted/rename under your account it will be used locally only)

Please suggest me how it is handle in tinymail.

I would like to know what is message collection strategy followed in tinymail.

I have got the account detail (account uri) & know the folder name from which i need to get message.

My query is :

- Do tinymail first get the header detail for all the mail & show on gui.
- once user click on any message then he will get the content for same message.
- is their any difference in handling message receving streategy for imap & pop account.
- How different type of MIME-Type filtering taken care. (like if message have Multipart/alternative then do we use only HTML part or we use text/plain as well (It is just an example)).

i don't no if i am asking so many question in one mail but i am very querious to know about complete strategy

I am looking for api used by tinymail for the above feature or what is the logic i need to used to get same functionality.

NOTE : it will be same like mail-notification plugin in evolution.

Is there any way to only receive latest N mails from server using IMAP?

My idea is instead of receiving all the headers and updating in summary.mmap , I want to receive only latest N message headers. As you see the Gmail in Mobile platform, they will get only N messages initially and while the user scrolls down it fetches another N mails.

I want to implement similar functionality.

Some idea or concept will be a great help.

I am thinking UID FETCH is there but am not sure to receive N messages...
