[WIN32] trunk version - trouble with header path

Hello,

I try to compile trunk version for win32. After changes (Big
reorganisation) I have some definition errors.
Have a look on make.log file here
http://www.pateam.org/archive/tmp/ekiga-win32/trunk/make.log

Best regards

[WIN32] trunk with opal 3.10 and ptlib 2.10

Hello,

it is now possible to generate ekiga for windows using the last/trunk
versions of ptlib (2.10), opal (3.10) and libav (0.8).
I use Debian x86_64 (unstable) with mingw64.
Trouble with opal video plugins is not well fixed. There is a trouble
when using opal headers. H.263-1998 and MPG4 need extra CFLAGS
(-fpermissive)
I put mods and Makefile on
http://www.pateam.org/archive/tmp/ekiga-win32/trunk/Mods . It is also
necessary to comment notify_start (ekiga/src/ekiga.cpp) to compile.
Last setup is available at
http://www.pateam.org/archive/tmp/ekiga-win32/trunk/ekiga-setup-3.3.3-git-270_g98743ba.exe

Thank you for feedbacks

Things to be done before release 3

FYI, here are the things I know of which need to be done before releasing:

GENERAL:
FIXED various problems with call window
crash on OnPresenceChanged upon quit
cannot register to ekiga.net from my network
FIXED huge bw if encoder not found
FIXED bug opal on presence after 1-2 hours
FIXED when presence changes, the roster opens automatically
FIXED hangup does not work during ringing
add tooltips to toolbar buttons
compile error if notify unavailable
some icons are not found

WINDOWS-specific:
crash on Windows on quit
crash de x264 helper (at least on Windows)
gtk components in call window are not shown after 1st time
inexistent icons on Windows

AND ALSO:
FIXED group all the files toolbox in one file
NOTABUG tests create account, it seems there is crash
tests freephonie
tests pulse
tests with D.

IF TIME ALLOWS:
- crash on utf-8 encoding
- pressing twice very fast on Show call window does not hide the window

kamailio issues??? or ekiga problem??

Hi,

I just installed kamailio for my sip testing. I am using it for simple registrar purposes...
The config file is default file with debugging enabled.

I registered 2 UAs with kamailio, but am not able to call using aor dialing.

I inspected packets with wireshark, which i think is a bit problematic.

my server's at 31.21.33.238, while UAs are at 31.21.33.250 and 31.21.33.236.

I have attached the wireshark file for packets. see packet number.5 and 7. Why has ekiga put the from field as ip:0.0.0.0.??? Isn't der something wrong here???

Regards,

Vineet Menon

unable to resolve libpt.so

Hi,

I have compiled and executed ekiga numerous times, but I don't know what happened a couple of days ago..I was cleaning and biulding the sources once again....and duh...

while running ekiga it says cannot find libpt.so... I tried `locate libpt.so`..and it was there in /usr/loca/lib/.
What can be possible reason for this??

Vineet Menon

testing a modied ekiga at another machine

Hi,

I want to test a modified ekiga binary at another machine....
  1. I cannot simply run it at other end! since its asking for opallib.so
  2. I cannot even do a `make install`, since opal makefile is unable to find the ptlib directory, when I already `make install`ed ptlib already.

So, is there any way to do this without doing the compilation of sources again?? Or that's the only way to do that??

Regards,

Vineet Menon

Use of mingw-w64

Hi all,

For Windows cross-compilation, we have just switched from the old
mingw32 to mingw-w64. For the moment, only ekiga 32 bit is generated.
The next step is to generate ekiga 64 bit too. More information is at
http://git.gnome.org/browse/ekiga/commit/?id=ec16d4d94 and
http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Building_Ekiga_for_Windows.
