Mutter 3.3.5 released

About Mutter
============

Mutter is a window and compositing manager that displays and manages
your desktop via OpenGL. Mutter combines a sophisticated display
engine using the Clutter toolkit with solid window-management logic
inherited from the Metacity window manager.

While Mutter can be used stand-alone, it is primarily intended to be
used as the display core of a larger system such as GNOME Shell. For
this reason, Mutter is very extensible via plugins, which are used
both to add fancy visual effects and to rework the window management
behaviors to meet the needs of the environment.

GNOME Shell 3.3.5 released

About GNOME Shell
=================

GNOME Shell provides core user interface functions for the GNOME 3
desktop, like switching to windows and launching applications. GNOME
Shell takes advantage of the capabilities of modern graphics hardware
and introduces innovative user interface concepts to provide a
visually attractive and easy to use experience.

Tarball releases are provided largely for distributions to build
packages. If you are interested in building GNOME Shell from source,
we would recommend building from version control using the build
script described at:

 http://live.gnome.org/GnomeShell

Not only will that give you the very latest version of this rapidly
changing project, it will be much easier than get GNOME Shell and its
dependencies to build from tarballs.

ANNOUNCE: Cheese 3.3.5 released

The video format was switched to WebM by Alexey Fisher, which should
make video recording a lot smoother than Ogg Theora. Deleting multiple
images has been improved by Adrian Zgorzałek to only show one
confirmation dialog. Patricia Santana Cruz added checking for the
nautilus-sendto dependency with PackageKit as part of her Outreach
Program internship.

what is it?
===========
Take photos and videos with your webcam, with fun graphical effects

what's changed in 3.3.5?
========================
version 3.3.5
   - Use default PackageKit interaction modes
     Do not hardcode the PackageKit interaction modes, so that distribution
     defaults are used, for example for whether to show a confirmation dialog
     when requesting package installation. See the comments on bug 668072 for
     some further reasoning.
   - Disambiguate GLib.DBus in Cheese.Window
   - Use PackageKit for nautilus-sendto dependency
     The user has the option to install nautilus-sendto runtime dependency
     with PackageKit, in case it is not already installed.
     Fixes bug 668072.
   - Fix Slovenian help translation
     The incorrect closing tag caused a build failure, reported by Luca
     Bruno.
   - Post-release version bump to 3.3.5
     As Cheese provides shared libraries, it is more friendly to bump the
     version after a release. As requested by Frédéric Péters.
