GLib 2.16.2 released

GLib 2.16.2 is now available for download at:

This is a bug fix release in the 2.16 series. 

GLib is the low-level core library that forms the basis for projects
such as GTK+ and GNOME. It provides data structure handling for C,
portability wrappers, and interfaces for such runtime functionality as
an event loop, threads, dynamic loading, and an object system.

Labyrinth 0.4

Hi,

After a long wait, the next version of labyrinth is now available.

Labyrinth is a mind-mapping tool for the GNOME desktop (and beyond!).
This version can be found at 
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/labyrinth/
(once the mirrors catch up)

The release consists currently of the source tarball.  I'll leave
packaging up to others.  I will be working to make the Windows version
usable again soon.  Sorry for the delay.

This release is due entirely to the two new maintainers: Martin Schaff
and Matthias Vogelgesang, who's awesome work has resulted in enormous
changes and many bug fixes.

 Announcing the release of Beagle 0.3.5 (Standard disclaimers apply).
 We have taken another attempt at building beagle without breaking
 anything and this time we fixed building with recent NDesk-DBus. We
 also fixed regressions in beagle-search where beagle-search window
 could appear grey when the shortcut key is pressed and/or
 beagle-search could crash when shortcut key is pressed. Enjoy. Oh, and
 now the epiphany extension also supports Epiphany 2.22.

ANNOUNCE: Hipo "Le Papu Le Mato Le Fifi" 0.6.99

What is it?
=========

Hipo, is an application that allows you to manage the data of your
iPod. Hipo is based on the cute ipod-sharp library and uses
taglib-sharp for tag editing.

This release is not intended for public consumption as the application
has undergone a rewrite and has not been widely tested.

The Inkscape community today is announcing the release of the newest
version of its open source vector graphics editor. Inkscape 0.46 is a
major update that introduces native PDF support. The implementation of
PDF support in Inkscape provides an easy, open source solution to
editing PDF documents.

Tons of new features and performance improvements are included in this
release. Dialogs now have the ability to be docked to the editing
window. Gradients can be edited completely on-canvas. The new Paint
Bucket Tool fills bounded areas with color. A new 3D Box tool helps
create perspective-correct drawings. A new Tweak tool provides an
intuitive method for editing paths and painting objects. The new Live
Path Effects feature can create "brushes" and various organic effects
on paths. Improvements to color management include support for color
spaces other than sRGB. Most SVG filters are now implemented, and a
new powerful UI is provided for editing filter stacks.

What is it?

Empathy consists of a rich set of reusable instant messaging widgets,
and a GNOME client using those widgets. It uses Telepathy and Nokia's
Mission Control, and reuses Gossip's UI. The main goal is to permit
desktop integration by providing libempathy and libempathy-gtk
libraries. libempathy-gtk is a set of powerful widgets that can be
embeded into any GNOME application.
