ANNOUNCE: gnome-gpg 0.4.0

Gnome-gpg 0.4.0 is now available at the following location:

    http://download.gnome.org/sources/gnome-gpg/0.4/

Gnome-gpg is a wrapper for the "gpg" command line tool that uses a Gnome
password dialog, and gives the option to save the passphrase in the
Gnome keyring for future invocations.

The main improvements in this release include:

    * use the --status-fd/--command-fd interface to gpg, which results
in the following user visible changes:
         1. correctly handle signing with multiple keys.
         2. recover if the wrong passphrase is entered.
         3. removes the need to guess which key's passphrase is being
requested from the arguments to gpg.
    * the passphrase dialog is now a transient of the terminal that
launched it. This means that it will pop up on the same workspace
as the terminal, and not get obscured by the terminal.
    * hide the anonymous/authenticated radio buttons in the passphrase
      dialog.

GDM2 2.13.0.10 (unstable), the "Happiness Revisited" release

AOOH-GAH
--------

(If you have no clue what gdm is, skip a few paragraphs down first)

The 2.13.0.10 release is an unstable release of GDM2 that
resolves an interface stability issue. Now if the user has
a /etc/gdm/gdm.conf file installed on their system, this
will be used instead of the custom.conf file. This better
supports backwards compatibility if the user has an old
configuration file on their system.

2.13.0.10 stuff:

- Now GDM will use the gdm.conf file if it exists as the custom.conf
file, so if the user has an old configuration file it will continue
   to use that. (Brian Cameron)

- Translation updates (Gabor Kelemen, Alexander Shopov)

Note: GDM2 was originally written by Martin K. Petersen <mkp <at> mkp.net>.
Much work has been done on GDM2 by George Lebl, and Brian Cameron
currently shares maintainership duties with the Queen of England.

Note2: If installing from the tarball do note that make install
overwrites most of the setup files, all except gdm.conf. It will
however save backups with the .orig extension first.

[ANNOUNCE] Twenty-ninth release of PythonCAD now available

Hi.

I'm pleased to announce the twenty-ninth development release of PythonCAD,
a CAD package for open-source software users. As the name implies,
PythonCAD is written entirely in Python. The goal of this project is
to create a fully scriptable drafting program that will match and eventually
exceed features found in commercial CAD software. PythonCAD is released
under the GNU Public License (GPL).

PythonCAD requires Python 2.2 or newer. The interface is GTK 2.0
based, and uses the PyGTK module for interfacing to GTK. The design of
PythonCAD is built around the idea of separating the interface
from the back end as much as possible. By doing this, it is hoped
that both GNOME and KDE interfaces can be added to PythonCAD through
usage of the appropriate Python module. Addition of other PythonCAD
interfaces will depend on the availability of a Python module for that
particular interface and developer interest and action.

The twenty-ninth release of PythonCAD contains various improvements
to the internal entity creation and manipulation code. The routines
for transferring entities between layers has been reworked, as have
the routines for deleting entities. This code rework flushed out
a number of bugs and sub-optimal code issues which have been resolved.
The code for creating and modifying Dimension entities was both
simplified by removing redundant arguments to various methods and
some missing undo/redo abilities were added as well. In addition to
internal code improvements, the ability to toggle RadialDimension
entities to display diameter values and the ability to invert an
AngularDimension entity have been added to the interface. Lastly,
a variety of miscellaneous bug fixes and code improvements are
