buttons for osuosl site

Heya, OSUOSL wants a button for their site:

Lastly -- do you by chance have a `blog button' (80x15 image) that we
could use for your
site to put on our home page in the Partners section? Or, if you could
throw something
together too for this I'd appreciate it.

http://www.lucazappa.com/brilliantMaker/buttonImage.php

Ryan, does the one you made fit the bill? If not, could you create one?
We also need one for openfontlibrary.org

Wrd! Things are moving along...

openclipart and openfontlibrary user accounts

Heya, could I get a dump of all users who are in the clipart and
openfontlibrary groups, along with their public gpg and public ssh keys.
I will then move them over to osuosl infrastructure to get accounts.

If there is a way I can do this, please let me know. I'm moving things
over today.

Cheers!

OSUOSL openclipart.org and openfontlibrary.org admin access REQUEST URGENT

Ok, I've emailed freedesktop.org to get a dump of all current users of
clipart and openfontlibrary.org groups. I will them get all those with
access, access to the new server hawthorn.osuosl.org. Both Open Clip Art
Library and Open Font Library are on that box. The Create project, which
is not taking major traffic, will stay on freedesktop.org twisp right
now.

Thus, what I need from any developers on these projects who do not have
current ssh access to freedesktop.org, to please send me offlist your
SSH key, desired username, real name, and desired email.

I will then file these with OSUOSL so that we can spread out the power.

If anyone doesn't wait for freedesktop.org (which might be a great
idea), please go ahead and send the desired info and I'll file requests
for our accounts. Please do this to help relieve the jon-bottleneck :)

Alexandre, can you please set the sites whois nameservers to from
primary downward:

ns1.auth.osuosl.org
ns2.auth.osuosl.org
ns3.auth.osuosl.org

After this happens, we should get lovely access to our new service from
OSUOSL...please reply when this is done...all is looking well here for
testing: http://openfontlibrary-test.osuosl.org/

Until the dns is working properly, you all won't be able to really add
to the site: http://openfontlibrary.org

Cheers!!!

TextLayout summit links + text Rasterization article

Hi everyone,

In case you haven't seen it yet, the papers/slides of the TextLayout
Summit (along with recordings) are available on
http://unifont.org/TextLayout2007/

And this article on Text Rasterization has some useful ideas:

Except the video is not ready yet. We have video for all of the
afternoon discussions and will get this up as soon as possible.

openfontlibrary.org live

Ok, looks like DNS is propagating nicely. If you all would please take a
look around at the site and see what works and what doesn't work. That
would be mighty happy.

Hopefully all engines are go once more on our lovely new infrastructure!

Please do send me your ssh2 (dsa) key, desired username, and real name
to help this project out with administration tasks. Now that we are on
OSUOSL, we have responsive admins who can add accounts, etc.

Cheers to you all!

Jon

Noticed a couple of things.

http://www.openfontlibrary.org doesn't work but http://openfontlibrary.org does.
(I can't remember who it was from the text layout summit that noticed
this but they would really like this fixed).

The wiki is being hit badly by spam. Almost all the changes since 30th
June have been wiki spam - all except 1 removing spam. The majority of
the 'users' on the wiki look like spammers.

Daniel
