Request 'New Testament Sigla' (U+1D510 / U+1D513)

Hello,

for editing Old Greek texts, I need some 'New Testament Siglas'.

Dejavu Sans 2.29 already supports the 'Alef symbol' at U+2135.
But I need the 'Mathematical Fraktur Capitals' P and M at U+1D510
and U+1D513, too. Are there plans to support this glyphs? Maybe
soon?

If the P et M refer to biblical codexes, they have nothing to do with
mathematical symbols. Why don't you use a real fraktur font instead of
DejaVu?

Next release

Hello,

It was long time since last release in March, so I think
it is time for the next release. I propose to make one next weekend.
Could someone with admin rigths on sf.net do this? I can help if help is
required.

Don't worry, we haven't forgotten the project, just lots of other things going 
on... I planned to do it this weekend (Denis can testify of my intent to make 
a release  ) but something else came up. And next weekend is also not an 
option for me. I'm considering to make a release in the middle of the week on 
a day when I have enough time available, and I'd drop the days in freeze this 
time given the small number of changes since the last weeks, so I can decide 
to make a release the day itself. Would someone object to dropping the release 
candidate this time?

I'd say go ahead, the last change was some time ago, so any critical bug 
would have been noticed by now ;) . By the way, I have some changes to 
the Miscellaneous Symbols block for the version after that. The files 
have been sitting on my hard drive for half a year, and I never got 
around finishing the work.

GPL compatibility of DejaVu font

Hi, is it legal to bundle the DejaVu (derivative of Vera) font within
software distributed under the GPL?  I want to distribute both the font
files themselves, and C++ code that generates the binary code for the DejaVu
font in PDF format.  My only concern is that the GPL might give people the
right to make derivative works without acknowledging the Vera copyright.  Is
it okay?

Problems with DejaVu Sans and Converting word into Adobe pdf

Hello,
When I want to convert a word-document into pdf with the adobe distiller 
or the adobe acrobat 6.

it doesn't work, when there are DejaVu Sans letters in the Word-Data 
like Ԡ and ԡ .

Open office works well when making pdf.

Will this be corrected in the new edition too?

I've just created a pdf chart of DejavuSans.ttf with fntsample:

fntsample -f DejaVuSans.ttf -o DejaVuSans.pdf

you can grab it from the following link:
