Database Installation

Hello,

Please I need help on how to create and populates webERP database on
my shared server;

I'm using CentOS Server with cPanel;

Can I create database as "xxxxx_weberp (dbname) & xxxxx_weberp
(username)" from my cPanel instead of go to shell?

How do I populates "weberp-demo.sql" if the database created on cPanel?

I created MYSQL user account and granted all access for the user
account on my cPanel as;
User: xxxxx_weberp
Database: xxxxx_weberp
Password: xxxxxx

And modified weberp-demo.sql "CREATE DATABASE xxxxx_weberp"

And try to populate the weberp-demo.sql as below;
root <at> server [~]# mysql --user=xxxxx_weberp --password='xxxxxx' <
/home/xxxxx/public_html/webERP/sql/mysql/weberp-demo.sql

I got below error message;
ERROR 1050 (42S01) at line 22: Table 'accountgroups' already exists

What should I do to install the webERP database please?

Usually in CPANEL you have MySQL database creation plus PHPMyAdmin. You 
can use the latter to populate the database created in the former.
I use CPANEL on CENTOS at my host (bluehost.com, that utilises these 
features.)

Which of the two 

1. version 3.09   
2.weberp-20081117-cvs 

should I use to set up a webERP production system for daily use ?

Stock count error message

Hi,

It's that time of year again...  Stock counting.

Finished my counts and followed the 6 step manual
(http://www.weberp.org/weberp/doc/Manual/ManualContents.php?ViewTopic=Inventory)

At step 6 I ran the report with update results set and got:
Warning: Wrong parameter count for _() in
/var/www/webERP/PDFStockCheckComparison.php on line 199

on the next page. It seems to work fine as my stock counts were updated
and the "viewing entered counts" is empty. It looks a bit scary ...

Barcode Scanner Problem

Hi,

I got a little issue here regarding using barcode scanner to enter item code
at Quick Entry for the webERP.

A Normal barcode scanner, after scanning a barcode it will produce a enter
click by itself. Therefore when i want to use barcode scanner to quick entry
it wont allowed, after i scanned the item code it refresh by itself.

Anybody can help to modified so that after I scanned the barcode for item
code, it will jump to the quantity for me to key in the quantity.

Hi David,

It sounded in your first email that it was already populated when it 
said accountsgroup already existed. Have you had weberp installed on 
that machine before?

Somebody (maybe you?) posted a patch on the bug tracker to fix this, 
which I have applied. If you download the latest StockLocStatus.php you 
should find this ok.

I think you need to speak to the authors of this version. I am not sure 
how old it is.

Not at the moment, it wouldn't be too hard to do, the info is all there.

There is no auto allocation process, personally I dont like them. The 
allocations are held in suppallocs table. Removing them could be complex 
though.
