"Rebuild the System Default Language File" Menu does not produce messages.po?

Hi Phil / Tim,

I'm trying to access the menu
Utilities -> Maintain Language Files -> Rebuild the System Default Language
File

Which calls this script
Z_poRebuildDefault.php

after I click Proceed button,
it doesn't produce new messages.po
in the folder locale/en_GB.utf8/LC_MESSAGES/
as it used to be

any change recently?

and when I tried to delete the existing messages.po file, just trying to
trigger it.... still no generation of the file.
and when I do svn update, svn usually replaces missing file but it doesn't
this time

any advice guys?

ERROR Message Report : The general ledger entries created do not balance. See your system administrator

When we post certain very long invoices, the above message appears. its
probably due to rounding errors, and like for $3000, the difference can be
10-20 cents.

What is the best way to fix this? Because I am the system administrator. The
other leg which is wrong is account payable. Is it ok for us to edit that
one line to make it match in MySQL? if yes, which particular place to edit
and is it one place or a few?

Conference

Good people,

There has been some private discussion about the idea of a webERP 
conference. We have a venue in Sri Lanka - thanks Samudaya - and really 
wondering if there is enough enthusiasm from users and developers to 
warrant the effort of organising such an event.

I'd be happy to do a session on Point of Sale and hopefully my new 
web-shop by this time, but it would also be great to have some 
feedback/case studies from users to see the businesses where webERP is 
being used and informal discussion with people passionate about webERP.

Please advise if you would be a starter for such an event.

Software Freedom Conservancy has started a fundraising campaign to create an open source, free software accounting system for non-profit organisations (NPO).

The Software Freedom Conservancy has started a fundraising campaign to create an open source, free software accounting system for non-profit organisations (NPO). Conservancy's goal is to raise $75,000 to fund a developer for one year to first evaluate existing technologies and then build a solution designed for non-profit accounting on the best available open source system.

Conservancy Executive Director Bradley Kuhn says many non-profit organisations use proprietary software to file their obligatory annual reports with governmental organisations. According to Conservancy, this is "fundamentally at cross purposes with their underlying missions of charity, equality, democracy, and sharing". The software package Conservancy is trying to create will be mostly aimed at US non-profit corporations, but it should also prove a good basis for other localised versions.

The Software Freedom Conservancy's fundraiser has received support from a number of open source non-profit organisations such as the Open Source Initiative (OSI), the Free Software Foundation (FSF), the Mozilla Foundation, and the GNOME Foundation. OSI President Simon Phipps said that his organisation shared many of Conservancy's experiences "in navigating the financial management needs of non-profit organisations". He added, "we have many NPOs as members and we welcome this useful initiative by Conservancy."

The page for the campaign at the Software Freedom Conservancy web site includes further details of the organisation's plan and background information explaining why the organisation regards the project as essential. As a registered 501(c)(3) charity, donations to Conservancy are tax deductible in the US. The organisation says that, should the project not be funded successfully: "it's expected that work will simply proceed, but more slowly and take more time."

*Dear all:*

             Please review today's bugs fixed report.

             I fixed SMTP mail related bugs today:
             1.  Users can config use smtp or not in setup.
             2.  They can mail their PO via smtp mail by the SMTP setting.

             The SMTP settings has some error messages for those Boolean
instead of object query return. And fixed the SMTP does not work for Chinese
setting, maybe also other language except English. At the same time fixed
the mailing feature for PO PDF files via smtp. It's no such setting before. 

              Tim has review those files and found that </select> tag
missing. 
              And I got Richard's feedback that I should create another
4.10-4.11 sql file.
