questions about PearPC

i have an AMD opteron 170 running <at> 2.7ghz, 2gb or ram.
my question is can my computer be able to run pearpc well?  will the performance not lag and annoy me?  i will mainly be using the mac software to surf the net and stuff like that.  i will create a duel partition with windows xp 64 and use the windows side for gaming and applications like that.
 
how much ram will pear pc use?  2gb or 4gb?  any performace issues with 4gb or ram?
 
what is the latest mac os that will run on pearpc?  what is the best running mac os on pear pc?
