No out-side connection from the Pear-PC to the running machine

Hi,

I am not able to ping from the PearPC to the running machine or to my network ( I gave an IP address to a TAP Win 32 interface for the PearPC from my network ).

Appreciate any help :-)

Thanks,

        Avi.

PearPC 0.4.0] hangs after printing "returning from prom_init" on FC7

Hi ,

I am trying to run Debian linux PPC OS ( 2.6.x kernel) using PearPC
0.4.0 on FC7. It hangs with following output at the time of boot:
[drives]# qemu-system-ppc -cdrom ./debian-40r1-powerpc-businesscard.iso

"
....
Calling quiesce ..
returning from prom_init
"
After googling, it seems that it related to yaboot related issue. But
could not figure out root cause of this hang. Do you have any idea about
this hang?

Regards,
Prakash

Re: vista

Yes, it is the control panel... It seems you have a problem running
it... Did it saved any config file ? If yes, you may copy/paste its
content in here.

[Message to the list users] Has anybody ever tried the PearPC control
panel in Windows Vista ? Ben seems to have a problem with it, but I
can't tell him much, since I don't have any Vista installation working.

pear on windows

I have found your program interesting to say the least. I was able to run pearpc/osX in
windowsxp. I want to get the internet/network to work with it as well, but didn't see much
on the subject. How do it make it work?
