taking Macintosh emulation to the next level

Hello, this is Darek Mihocka from Emulators.com. I've been trying to contact
Sebastian and Gwenole regarding future PearPC and SheepShaver development
but can't seem to find active email addresses or source code. I've restarted
the SoftMac development effort this summer to fix a few Windows Vista
issues, but as long term goal am looking to write a portable and open source
Macintosh emulator from scratch to host Mac OS virtual machines on future
64-bit releases of Windows, Mac OS X Leopard, and Playstation 3.

Ideally the new emulator would incorporate features from SoftMac, Fusion PC,
SheepShaver, vMac, and PearPC into a single unified Mac emulator, which is
being design to target the new generation of 64-bit multi-core processors
now hitting the PC market. I wanted to check the status of the PearPC and
SheepShaver projects first and confirm that they are in fact completely dead
(as they appear to be) before I fork off the sources and recycle them into
the new emulator.

If anybody is still monitoring this list please respond, or email me
privately at darekm <at> emulators.com and put "Macintosh" in the subject line.

I had ordered the ISA rom card from him and the software that included printer extensions and such which came to about $400, weeks passed without any sign of life from Emulators.com. We then finally received the credit card bill which showed that Emulators.com had charged our credit card even though we never received our product! Despite numerous emails nobody ever replied. We finally did a charge back and will NEVER do business with this person again. This person is a scam artist! Their emulators don't even work and they expect you to pay for them?! Thank god I never actually got what I ordered because their emulation doesn't even work! The free open source emulators are much better then their closed source for money emulators!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Thx for the warning. I had a look at his website just after I send an answer to his request. I find this site highly suspicious.

Your welcome, indeed this guy is no good. It saddens me that he is still in business... Well at least we know with his track record he won't be replying here either...
