ata.cc: image too big for pearpc

Hi,

Is there a reason for the maximum limit of c/h/s == 65535/16/63 in
pearpc-0.4/src/io/ide/ata.cc?  If someone could give me some more info
about this, I would be willing to write a patch to go beyond this
limit.

What I'm hoping is that I can just take a 60GB hard drive from an
actual Mac and just run it in PearPC.  But that is not really
possible, since this limit creates a maximum size around 32GB.

request for help: naive user attampting to download Mac emulator

I've found a tutorial about downloading the PearPC Mac
emulator mentioning I must obtain a copy of the Mac
operating system to accompany the Pear download. 

I only need a simple version of Mac OS to run some
software in an old book I want to work through - can I
find and trust free versions of Mac operating systems
like 3 or 4 on the web?

Only Mac OS X will work with PearPC (though you *might* also get OS 9 to 
work with pain).
