Singlestep not implemented

I am trying to use pearpc for development, and it everything works fine
and is really neat until I try and debug my programs. Version .4Pre
silently crashes and .3.1 prints the error JITC Error: singlestep not
implemented. I know there are a lot of fancy other features you guys are
working on, but I see using pearpc for development as one of its largest
potentials. Is there an ETA on a fix for this?

cannot even boot darwin

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Here is what I did
under linux (debian unstable, pearpc 0.3.1+1-2)

I've create a tiger.iso
I've downloaded darwin darwinx86-801.iso (md5 323863abf2d0fa3cb3c525da7567ca27)
I've got the video.x (md5 2b70f0425666df8da91715a3363aa007)
and the nvram (md5 5cb82b3a1a8b8950c4b6af8790ba002c)

Then I created the 3GB hd.img

 dd if=/dev/zero of=hd.img bs=516096 seek=6241 count=0

As for the configuration:

## PearPC Configuration File
ppc_start_resolution = "800x600x15"
redraw_interval_msec = 40
key_toggle_mouse_grab = "F12"
key_toggle_full_screen = "Alt+Return"
prom_bootmethod = "select"
prom_env_machargs = "-v"
prom_driver_graphic = "/home/tcurdt/pearpc/video.x"
pci_usb_installed = 1
nvram_file = "/home/tcurdt/pearpc/nvram"

pci_ide0_master_installed = 1
pci_ide0_master_image = "/home/tcurdt/pearpc/hd.img"
pci_ide0_master_type = "hd"

pci_ide0_slave_installed = 1

Re: cannot even boot darwin

"darwinx86"?
I think you're looking for help in the wrong place my friend, Pearpc is a
PPC emulator, not x86...

Re: cannot even boot darwin

Darwin is (of course) working fine now.
But neither Tiger nor Panther is starting up.

I've tried the native cdrom support under
linux and windows as well have I ripped
the ISOs and tried with that.

I can see the parition table

  cdrom0 (raw disk/raw)
  cdrom0 (Apple/Apple_partition_map)
  cdrom0 (Macintosh/Apple_Driver_ATAPI)
  cdrom0 (Mac_OS_X/Apple_HFS)
  cdrom0 (Apple Hardware Test/Apple_Boot)
  cdrom0 (/Apple_Free)

but PPC says that any of those are
bootable.

What's up now?

cheers

Networking between PearPC and Windows XP Host

Hello list,

I have PearPC 3.1 jit runing on my Windows XP SP2 Spanish machine Mac OS
10.3 runing on PearPC I installed the 3Com drivers and downloaded TAPI
drivers and configured it as 192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0, and the 3Com
Ehternet card on the Mac side as 192.168.0.5/255.255.255.0 also as
instructions said I configured my LAN interface on the Windows side as
192.168.1.1/255.255.255.0.

On the Mac side I can ping its own IP on the 3Com
192.168.0.5/255.255.255.0 card on the PC I can pint the TAPI device IP
on 192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0, but I can not ping from the PC to the Mac
and Vice versa.

Any Ideas?
