Re: OGR-NG stats

Looks like the Stubspace Status is up and running, still no Keyrate History
yet.

Re: OGR-NG stats

there's a beta version of Free-DC stats http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=proj&proj=ogr26

Automatic Startup on Debian

Hello,

I am using Debian GNU/Linux. Is it there's a way to run my dnetc
client automatically every time my computer restart?

More stats

Is it possible to add a few more stats to the projects? EG:

 * FLOPS/s
 * Participant and team stats for "CPU Years"

Just a thought.

Re: More stats

I think either of these measures would be a bit misleading.

A measurement of MIPS, not FLOPS, would vary significantly if measured per
stat unit based on the CPU architecture and speed. What I mean is, an
operation that takes 2 CPU cycles on an AMD may take only 1 on a Cell, and
the same operation may take 3 on a SPARC without even comparing the speed of
the CPU in ghz.

I think the same goes for CPU year. The amount of work done by a P2 300 in a
year vs a 3ghz Xeon or a PS3 Cell varies greatly. I suppose one could pic a
baseline cpu to base CPU years on much like on the proxy rate page for rc5..
This would work for MIPS or CPU years - but these would both be a direct
function of stats units per day.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for more geek stats, but I think we could be
comparing apples and oranges..

I am interested to hear any other opinions on this one :)

v507 and v507b/c versiond of the Win32 client

What are the differences between v507 and v507b/c versions of the Win32
client? There is no mention of it in the changes.txt.

Re: v507 and v507b/c versiond of the Win32 client

507b includes a few minor fixes that were added after 507 was built.
507c is just the MSI installer version of 507b as the note on the
download page mentions.

Re: v507 and v507b/c versiond of the Win32 client

Thanks!

If I am running v507, is there any need to update to the b version? I
was unable to find any bug info on 507, so I am guessing not.
