New crypto challange.

http://www.ntru.com/cryptolab/challenges.htm

Maybe this could be a project for d.net?

Potential New Challenges

When rc5-64 was announced to have been completed, the official line from
distributed.net was that they were looking at potential other projects
to work on. I understand that there may not be time to start work on a
new project with regards to cores etc. but I was hoping someone could
enlighten us on some of the projects that were being looked at.

Thanks
Ray Booysen

Try checking the website. http://www.distributed.net/nextgen/projects.html
should cover everything.

And requesting read-reciepts is kind of silly on a mailing list, IMO.

That site is ancient. Not a post later than 1999...

Agreed.

Re: Potential New Challenges

I apologize. The receipts are on by default, and I forgot to turn them
off when I sent an email to this list.
Please accept my apologies.

Re: Potential New Challenges

and annoying... almost makes one wonder why it was set... in this day in age, what with spammers and address
harvesting and such,
its not a pretty picture if one lets their paranoia surface...

What's up with OGR ? Are we doing 24 again ? Suddenly no 25s and lots of
24s.

Thanks,
