Thanks, Ronald.  To my untrained eye that error doesn't look as if it was
introduced by the patch.  Are you sure the compilation succeeds without

"./bootstrap" and then "./configure"

With this patch, the scim can be built with -DGTK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED=1 -DGDK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED=1
-DGDK_PIXBUF_DISABLE_DEPRECATED=1 -DG_DISABLE_DEPRECATED=1 -DGTK_DISABLE_SINGLE_INCLUDES=1
-DGDK_PIXBUF_DISABLE_SINGLE_INCLUDES=1. IMHO it is the first step to move to gtk3, please consider
accept it, thanks.
(The patch is made from svn reversion 315)
