I upgraded gtk to 2.2.4 as well and get this error. Thomas has submitted
it as a GTK bug
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=123107
I was actually just going to check up on it today ;-)

Wiki formatting

Does anyone know how to 'center' justify stuff I wiki format?

Thanks,

New gDeskCal-ROX out

I got a few reports of my download of gDeskCal-ROX not working (it really
helps if the target exists doh!). So, I posted a new one (now, fortified
with more Skins!):

http://songer.sourceforge.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=ind
ex&req=viewdownload&cid=3

On another note, I see a new version of Songer on the horizon... ;)

Sweet! I've been living in the dark ages, wondering what that was on
some screenshots but never daring to ask! Installing gdeskcal also
prompted me to get rid of old, standards-uncompliant openbox2 and
install new, shiny and perfectly compliant openbox3, because using
openbox2 with rox compatability enabled gave some very strange
behaviour indeed.

One question, however: I use mouseover window focus, and when I
mouseover gDeskCal, it'll autoraise over all other applications and
stay on top. This isn't very good, since I want it to be a quiet
fixture in my root window, and I can't tell it to do so because the wm
decorations are hidden.

I tried to apply that Nox theme but it does not work. I untared it into
/home/thor/.themes and copied gtkrc and iconrc to .gtkrc and iconrc but
it does not effect anything. So I tried to copy it to
/opt/gnome2/share/themes - no effect. I'm not using gnome-session.

What am I doing wrong?

Re: New gDeskCal-ROX out

I knew you did the rox conversion and not the program itself. I was
just thinking maybe someone here had the same problem using this
program. Turns out that the problem was window manager specific, so
it's really a case of me not thinking before posting.. Oh well :-)
Thanks for a nicely rox'ed app, though!

Cheers,
Kacper

RE: New gDeskCal-ROX out

Not really sure how to help, as I am not the original author of gDeskCal (I
just put it into a rox-friendly format ;) ). But, I've copied the original
author on this. Maybe Martin can help... The homepage for gDeskCal is

backdrop disabling

Hi,

I am using IceWM 1.2.13 with rox-filer.

In this latest version of icewm they have given icewm-session which also
starts icewmbg to set the background image...

Now what happens is the desktop is occupied by pinboard backdrop... What
can I do to disable this pinboard backdrop so that the image set by icewmbg
is visible on the desktop ?

Thanks in advance...

Peace
