Uninstall

How do I uninstall Squirrel! <at> #$#$%%^

Help has no search capability, there is no uninstall shortcut in the Start menu, there is no item for it in the add/remove programmes to enable me to uninstall it!

Not impressed!

Squirrel won't load

After applying the 5/2 snapshot Squirrel won't load. The splash screen is displayed but it just sits. I have to kill the javaw.exe process to clear it up.
I then have to uninstall and reinstall the base.
When will this be fixed?
Thanks.

Data in remarks column is unreadable.

I am accessing as400 data with Squirrel SQL Client 3.2.1 and when I go to the Objects tab and select a table the “Columns”  data is unreadable the following is from an export of the text in remarks column:

Ä Ä ? Í > È ? ñ À ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

How can I fix this formatting?

Re: Unable to Connect to Oracle DB though VPN

Hi Srini,

do you have the Oracle driver properly installed in SQuirreL? Can you
ping the Oracle Server from your machine? What JDBC URL and driver do
you use? Do you have a local oracle client installation and a
tns-entry for your server? Have you tried tnsping with the tns-name of
the installation? Can you connect to the server with sqlplus?

You see there are quite a few questions that need to be answered. If
you provide some further information maybe one can help you.

Take care

Andreas

DBCopy problem

Hi, I’m trying to copy tables from Access 2007 into DB2 for i5/OS. I’m connecting to the Access DB via HXTT Access Client driver and the i5 via the JTOpen(AS/400) driver. The problem is when I copy a table from Access to i5, it only copies 1,000 records. I get a message that the copy was successful, but it only copies the 1st 1,000 records. I tried changing around some settings, but nothing seems to help. Any suggestions? Thank you!

If you have any questions, please contact me.

Thank you,
