Synopsis:

  Lead the administration and managment of several large database

Skills:

As a Pervasive PostgreSQL trainer, you will play an integral role in our 
support team.

Criteria :

* Two or more years experience training.
* Must possess a solid grounding in Relational Database Theory.
* Three or more years experience with one or more RDBMS and at least one year 
working with PostgreSQL
* Two or more years experience working in at least one Unix like environment

The Federal and NSW Governments fund the NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN) to
support General Practitioners (GPs) in rural and remote NSW communities and
encourage more doctors to take up practice there.

The PROGRAMMER will provide essential programming services to the
Information Management team for a contracted six month period by utilising
open source development tools such as PostgreSQL and Python.  The Programmer
will write program code, consult with users, provide appropriate technical
documentation, assist in training users and help implement systems.  The
successful applicant should have recent qualifications in computer science
or software engineering and demonstrated skills and experience in modern
programming techniques.  Familiarity with open source development tools will
be highly regarded.  Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful
applicant commensurate with qualifications and experience within the range
of $47,000 to $52,000 (AUD) pro rated salary per annum.  The RDN offers
