CK-ERP (Open Source ERP / CRM / MRP) v.0.28.1 released (with LegalCase 0.7.3 connector)

Hi, folks,

I have posted a new release, v.0.28.1, of CK-ERP, at SourceForge.Net, 
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ck-erp .

New features include,
Sample school chart of accounts,
System upgrade script,
menu choice for warehouse, retail store,
tree view for BOM, inventory category, service category,
import of eGroupWare addressbook,
full (draft) Spanish translation [improvement suggestions most welcome], 
and,
connector for CATS, php-residence, Open-Realty, phpScheduleIT, 
PSCafePOS, OpenBiblio, Centre/SIS, ClaSS, Care2X

CK-ERP is an open source accounting/MRP/ERP/CRM system that runs on top 
of multiple middlewares.  It comprises 23 modules - Administration, 
i18n, Data Import, Contact Management, Customer Relationship, Customer 
Self Service, Vendor Relationship, Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, MRP, 
Warehouse, Inventory, Service, AP, AR, PO, SO, Quotation, POS for 
Cashier, POS for Manager, HR, Staff Self Service and Payroll.  It 
provides accounting and back office functionalities to SMEs and utilizes 
the underlying middleware to administer accounts/groups.  Please report

Searching across case 'notes' and displaying the results.

Hi there,

I sent a question back last year regarding changing the rules of the search 
function so that when searching, I can type keywords from the 'notes' section 
of the case table in the database, and return all results containing these 
keywords. I am still having trouble trying to figure this out, and wondered if 
I could have some help please? I have managed to change the search function 
for the clients table so that I can search for keywords contained in the notes.

error that I have mentioned in my previous message happens only in one
case. There is no trouble to add follow ups to another case or to add
new cases.

Legal Case Management System 0.7.3 released

Hello,

We have released version 0.7.3 of the Legal Case Management software,
this is a bugfix release for the development branch, but includes 
also changes to existing features:

Changes to existing functions:

- In case stages, it is now possible to return to a previous stage. 
  For example, if you have "stage1, stage2, stage3", the case may
  go from stage1 -> stage2 -> stage1. 

  Previously, LCM would make a "panic" error because the database
  would strictly check against these types of scenarios. But for
  many types of offices, this functionality is important. We may
  add a configuration option to disallow "going back" that 
  adminstrators could choose to activate or not.

New features:

- Added option to customize the case ID.

- Added option to print currencies using the Indian notation

Bugfixes:

- Fixed infinite loop in the list of cases for a client displayed
  when creating a new case, when there are more than 10 cases for
  that client.

- If no birth date, show "n/a" instead of "2008 years old"

- Edit client, allow to enter an empty birthdate in the 
  html inputs, it is later validated according to site policy.

- Do not display calendar if we need to upgrade, otherwise
  may generate an error.

- Fixed display of "stage change" info

- Fixed bug which would cause a panic during stage change.

- Fixed keyword revalidation (cache update) for MSIE, which
  was causing a panic because of how MSIE sends form info.

- The field for "sum billed" and other places where money/currencies
  are used (and possibly for file sizes too) were not being correctly 
  formatted for values such as "1000", it would show "1,0".

- The navigation links in the list of organisation/clients in
  the forms "add a org/client to a case" have been fixed.

- xhtml corrections in the "internal requests" forms, and 
  hiding "edit" button when updating a request status or
  when adding a comment.

- Fixed bug in pager (next/previous) for list of internal requests.

- PostgreSQL: fixed SQL bug in calendar day view.

- Improved and fixed a few features in "create a new organisation 
  for this case" function.

- Polish, Italian, German and French translations have been updated.
