Re: [Tiki-devel] Copy-Pasting images

Wiki page attachment is a bit of a useless feature in my view, because once you attach a file to a page, you are stuck and can’t reference it elsewhere.

Alain - just to clarify this point, you can display an image attachment on any page using the IMG plugin, not just the page it's attached to. Just use the attachment ID number: {img attId=XX}

Re: [Tiki-devel] Copy-Pasting images

Does this work also for non-image attachments? I tried to do that a couple of years ago and nothing I did worked.

Re: [Tiki-devel] Copy-Pasting images

If you just want to link to link to an attachment from another page, there are a couple of ways to do that:

Use the regular link syntax:

Use the FILE plugin, specifying the file name and wiki page the file is attached to:
{FILE(name=>syncComputedField.php, desc=>"file link text" , page=>"Computed Tracker Field")} {FILE}

[Tiki-devel] webdav access to wiki pages missing in trunk?

Hi:

I was reviewing webdav, and found an interesting documentation page:

http://doc.tiki.org/WebDAV+access+to+Wiki+Pages

which refers to some real code that was once added to trunk (Dec 2010)
and reported to be included in Tiki7, it seems:

http://tikiwiki.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/tikiwiki?view=revision&revision=31292

However, I can't see that tiki-webdav-wiki.php file (for instance) in
current trunk.

Any idea what happened to that code and feature?

Thanks

Xavi

Re: [Tiki-devel] Tiki split

+1 to Jyhem's and Oliver's comments
in some limited shared hosting solutions I used to delete by hand almost
all langs (except the manin 3 that we use), and it's tedious task,
specially when you want to upgrade again to latest tiki by means of ftp...

I merged it in webdav.php before Tiki8 i think.

So now you have acces to pages and File Galleries from a central page.
No loss in functionalities, and an friendlier entry point ! ;p
