Hai,

i have a problem that hit my system is about 2 days.

i got an error message in Dctm server:

Wed Nov 26 14:46:54 2008 421383Wed Nov 26 14:46:55 2008 610198
[DM_SERVER_E_LAUNCH_FAILED2]error: "Unable to create connection for
process because the creation of the execution context failed.
Operating system error: errno: 12, message: Not enough space"
[DM_SESSION_E_LAUNCH_VALIDATION]error: "Unable to launch the
external user validation program: /dctmapp/dba/dm_check_password.
Operating System Error: errno: 12, message: Not enough space"

this error is wierd because when i check my HD Space (actualy stored
in SAN 2 T), the space not is not approach 50 %

any clue ?

using DCTM 5.3 sp 5

Check out your database space, if it is not the file system space
that is a problem.

There are limitations as to what folders some users can access which
causes webtop to abort the install.

Will an external web-based documentum work with client 5.3 installed?

They co-exist just fine but you need to be aware that the web client uses
whatever system JRE you have installed: not the private one installed
for/by the client.
And, make sure you have only one JRE installed or you will have problems.
And, that the JRE is a supported one for the web client you are using.

Looks like a problem with the global registry and BOF2. When you
upgraded the DFC to a higher version did you setup the global
registry for the client? You should have entries similiar to the
following in your dfc.properties.

dfc.bof.registry.repository=dbase1
dfc.bof.registry.username=dm_bof_registry
dfc.bof.registry.password=Ck7Nf44nJ6Qnbf2HqYkXtg\=\=

Also check if you have a BOF cache at
$DOCUMENTUM/cache/<5.3.X>/bof/<DOCBASE>
