Hi, just wondering how to enable this, I'm running 1.4.4.1?

Thanks

It’s not possible, but it’s a relatively easy change to make if you have some knowledge of PHP.   (You just need to make sure you pass through some of the repeat form parameters to edit_entry_handler as hidden inputs).

As this is a frequent request I’ll take a look at putting it into the trunk next week.

I'm new to MRBS, I was just wondering if it is possible to stop level 1 users from adding repeat bookings?

Re: Disable repeat for level 1 users

Brilliant! I've managed to hide the other fields I don't want, so my booking system is now and up and running.

Thanks very much!

Subject: [MRBS-general] MRBS 1.4.4.1 released

Release files: http://p.sf.net/mrbs/mrbs1441

This is a minor release for MRBS 1.4.4, it only has one small change
beyond the recent 1.4.4 release, but fixes a major installation problem.
The 1.4.4 release files will be removed.

Changed since MRBS 1.4.4:

* Fixed bug in the 1.4.4 release, the database schema number in the
 installation SQL files was incorrect.

Changes since MRBS 1.4.3:

* Fixed test for E_DEPRECATED, which was causing warnings on
 some versions of PHP.

* Added the ability to set a password strength policy for the 'db'
 authentication scheme.

* Added the ability to have "provisional" bookings.

* Fixed LDAP authentication when $ldap_filter is set.

* Added the ability to limit how far in advance non-admin users
 can make bookings.

* Added the ability to prevent ordinary users from making repeat
bookings. Controlled by the configuration setting

* Redesigned the admin page and made it usable for non-admin users,
 it is now called "Rooms".

* Added the ability to add custom fields for rooms, the custom
fields must be added by the administrator in their favourite SQL
 admin tool.

* Added a "custom_html" field for areas and rooms - this allows
custom HTML to be attached to areas and rooms.

Plus a number of other bug fixes/changes.
See NEWS or ChangeLog in the release for more details.

Enjoy!

Re: MRBS 1.4.4.1 released

I'm just curious what the real need is here:

- are they searching for an existing booking? In which case does the
Search function fulfil this need?
- or are they searching for a free room? In which case would some kind of
"Find a Free Room" tool be more useful than hiding rows and columns?
