PHP error

Hello,

my mrbs-installation fills the php.log with

09-Nov-2005 17:53:42] PHP Warning: (null)(): 1 result set(s) not freed. Use mysql_free_result to free
result sets which were requested using mysql_query() in Unknown on line 0

anybody any idea where this comes from?

kind regards

More than 10 entry types

Greetings

We have MRBS running to book IT rooms. The rooms are booked by different departments and I have been asked to add more departments. I use the ten available entry types to record the depts, but have been asked to add a few more. After looking through the archives for advice I have subsequently changed the config.inc, mrbs.css, lang.en and function.inc to just add an another type - type K. It appears OK on the week view at the bottom of the screen and in the reports, but I can't find it on the add entry drop down list. I suspect it is there, but the box is not long enough to display it.

Please point me in the right direction.

Dave

You need to edit edit_entry.php too. Look for the line:

for ($c = "A"; $c <= "J"; $c++)

and change the "J" to "K".

Or in fact, change it to "Z" to give yourself the potential for 26 types.

Problem adding area/room admin email address retrospectively

Hello all

Thanks for the help with the additional entry types. It works well.

I have just turned on email notification via SMTP. It works well, but I get an error when the system tries to email the area or room admins (I've even set it to FALSE in config.inc). I did not set these up initially with email addresses, but now want to, to get round the problem.

I tried editing the admin pages for rooms and areas to retrospectively add an email address but get the following message - Update area failed: Unknown column 'area_admin_email' in 'field list'.

I'm not sure what to do, but it looks like I'll have to try some MySQL. Is that right ? Can you help again ?

regards

Dave

You need to apply the upgrade3.my.sql file from the MRBS archive. This
can be done with something like the following:

$ mrbs -h db-hostname -u db-user --password=db-password mrbs-db <
upgrade3.my.sql

Rooms on sepearate MRBS system

I have an install of MRBS and we have a partner who is also using the
same. We both have one room that is shared bewteen us and we both have
it on our own MRBS systems locally. I need to know if there is a way to
have one instance of the room on one of the MRBS systems that can be
seen by both systems.

Can I have my own locally installed MRBS system and have it linked to a
room on another MRBS system outside of my network? If it can't be done
is there a way to put a link inside of the MRBS system to the remote
room on the other MRBS system?

Thanks for any help,

Jon

All Rooms in Month View

Hello,

I went through almost all of the docs. about making all room display in the month view.  I went to

http://mrbs.sourceforge.net/multiroom/ and installed the adds.

However, now on the month view, I can only get the area to display without the rooms as a choice.

I saw refernece to a month_area2.php file not in the multiroom area, is that the file I need?  If so, where can I get it?

Recap: I would like to be able to see, in month view, both the individual rooms and all rooms together.

Thanks,

Will

Configuring mrbs forms etc.

Hi,

After configuring config.inc.php and setting up the database I've opened up the application (localhost) and discovered that none of my form fields/radio buttons/submit buttons have any names or labels. So I have no idea what each form field is or what information should be entered in each field(on the add area/rooms page for example).

In the install instructions it gives no indication that these need to be configured. do I have to do this myself does this indicate an error with the config or install of the product.

thanks in advance

You shouldn't need to do anything, so I'd suggest it's something wrong
with your install.

Does lang.en exist in your "web" directory? Also, you haven't by any
chance changed config.inc.php to set $default_language_tokens to
something different?

Other than that, I can't think what would cause the translations not to
appear...

John.
