Re: power_out - pin_bidi warning

All right, I've reduced this matter to 3 warnings. In a 4-layer pcb
with a microprocessor with 176 pins it's not a bad thing.
Nevertheless, putting a Power Flag just toggles the warning from "pin
power_in not driven" to "pin power_out connected to pin_bidi". This
doesn't affect the pcb layout so if no one has a better idea, I'll be
working with this warnings in the schematics.

Thanks for your help,

Daniel.

Connect 3 layers with vias

How can vias connect three or more layers in the PCB (if possible)?
"Select layer pair for vias" let only connect 2 layers.

Hi,

It is very probably that is OK.

An other solution, could be to create a special footprint component with only a pad which is connected on the right layers (I have not yet tested that).

But I think is not very frequent to have this need.

Re: Connect 3 layers with vias

Thanks Danilo.

Looking at the gerbers it seems that connecting tracks to vias works
well. I have two inner power layers (ground and power) and sometimes I
want to use the same via for both component and copper layers
connected to the same plane.

Daniel.

Laser printer

Hi,
I'm a new user of kicad (I've been using Layo1EE (dos version)for many
years) : un grand bravo à J.P Charras !!!
I'm looking for a laser printer which could give me a good quality for
PCB direct printing with kicad
Should it be a postscript model ?.
Are there some models or some constructors to prefer or on the
contrary to avoid ?

Best regards

Vincent Le Mieux
