Uploaded files unable to view.

I'm running Mantis 0.18.3
My install is running in /var/www/html/mantis/
I tried using all upload methods files upload fine, however no user can view
or download the files from the mantis install.

RE: Uploaded files unable to view.

I've seen the same problem in 18.3 - I can see uploaded images inline, but
other docs don't work...

I can right-click and save as - sometimes...

Haven't looked at it in much detail yet - some files seem to work.

RE: Uploaded files unable to view.

Thanks for the prompt reply; a friend of mine has mentioned that perhaps the
mime types are not being transferred with the file so presumably IE isn't
aware of the file type. I'm not a PHP person unfortunately so I'm not sure
how to test it. Is there a fix for this or a version below that works?

RE: Uploaded files unable to view.

I don't use SSL which is odd. However I've just fixed the problem by moving
up to the CSV release.
I'm still stumped as to what it was that caused the problem. If anyone on
the dev lists wants access to a machine with my setup to take a look at the
problem I'd be happy to help out.
Cheers

I'm not - not sure about the original requester - for me, inline image uploads work fine, and some other files have...

Looked at the bugs database and saw all the references were tied to an ssl issue - but I'm not using ssl.

PHP, mantis und SMTP

Hi
I am using mantis 0.18.3
Win2k
Apache 2
PHP 4.3.7

When I use admin(check.php
the emails are sent fine.
When I create a user and the system tried to send an email I get:
SYSTEM WARNING: mail(): Failed to connect to mailserver at
"localhost" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and
"smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set()

Where is this localhost coming from?
What's the difference between the check.php sendmail test and this one?
the email_api.php contains these lines
# set the SMTP host... only used on window though
ini_set( 'SMTP', config_get( 'smtp_host', 'mailhost.my.domain.com' ) );

it is the same as in php.ini:
SMTP =

I configured all and reboote, so php.ini and mantis should have been
reloaded.
So what is wrong here?
Thanks
Kay

RE: PHP, mantis und SMTP

This is strange : I cannot find the file the string "Failed to connect to
mailserver" is set into! neither in mantis source dir nor in phpmailer
directory !
I've found a "Failed to connect to server" in class.smtp.php; line 108, but
it seems that it's not the error message you've got !

And... just a question : did you correctly set your $g_smtp_host to
'mailhost.my.domain.com' in your config_inc.php ??!! (which has the default
value 'localhost')

AlaiN.
