Hi flyspray developers/community contributors,
I just wanted to say thank you for your efforts in creating
and maintaining flyspray.
Originally when searching for an issue tracking system, I
spent many weeks reviewing alternative solutions, including reviewing many hosted/cloud
solutions.
At the end of the day the cost was the biggest factor for
our small indie game development team, Gnomic Studios.
We needed an issue tracking system that could run on the
webhost that we already had paid for, using PHP and MySQL.
I had my doubts that Flyspray would be suitable and worried
that I would setup everything only to be stuck with no support on a technical
problem later on, or to have the rest of the team reject the system and not use
it.
However I am happy to say that we have been successfully
using Flyspray for 6 months now. We have over 200 issues raised across 2
projects, have a nice customised theme, and have created a reasonable workflow for
our issues (with only a little hacking), that is working well with our development
methodology.
There are some minor annoyances and quirks, but these aside,
the developers in the team are actively using the system every day.
