New Fumigant theme

I took Bluey, greatly increased the white space, lined things up, and
simplified the UI as much as possible. I have not worked on the detail
pages, but overall I think this gives Flyspray a clean, updated look which
should help it compete against other apps. It has some rough edges, but it
is a good start.

I added some code from overview.php to index.php and merged the overview
stats on the index (thus elimnating need for an extra link). The current
project title is linked to index (eliminating another link).

(includes themes/Fumigant and modified scripts/)

I'm happy for this to be added by the project. If someone puts it in
svn, I'll keep it updated as I make changes. My sf.net username is spiderr

Re: New Fumigant theme

Hi,

can you submit a screenshot or two? Then we can add it to
http://flyspray.org/themes

Re: New Fumigant theme

I'm afraid I don't have a database with public data.

Is there a public site or test database where it can be installed?

Placing flyspray.conf.php outside of docroot and a few other things

Hi Guys,

I have just upgraded from 0.9.9.5 to 0.9.9.6. I have some comments and
suggestions.

1. Placing flyspray.conf.php outside of docroot

The docs in docs/UPGRADING.txt said:

Configuration is no longer in header.php. You now need to edit the

flyspray.conf.php file to set your database config and miscellaneous

other settings.

You might like to place flyspray.conf.php in a directory where a web
browser

cannot reach it. If you do this, you will need to edit header.php to
point to

the new location.

(this is for Upgrading from 0.9.5 to 0.9.6 but I could not find any
mention of this procedure anywhere - I checked the website wiki and
FAQ)

In 0.9.9.6 there is no reference to the config file in header.php

The way I did it was to change the function get_config_path (L116)

Answering my own question, I can see this is in the footer. I didn't
notice it before.

Re: Re: Placing flyspray.conf.php outside of docroot and a few other things

Hi,

I guess you have some valid points there. For simplicity, it should be
possible to enable an alternative config file path in
constants.inc.php (maybe by uncommenting a define()).

I don't think that we will provide an easy way to change the header
image though. If you want to adjust the styles, you'll have to edit
the sytelsheet. Providing all kinds of style options in the GUI does
not seem useful to me.

An "upgrade successful" message is probably a good idea, should be
adjusted at some point.

Flo

Not all kinds - just the header image. The reason is that in my
scenario, and I imagine others, Flyspray is used as an issue tracker
manager for a project that has it's own header or masthead or banner
graphic already. It's just nice to be able to use that rather than the
default. I envision this as an "upload form" kind of thing.

Thanks for your reply.
