How do I manage subversion for flyspray?
Hi Guys, I haven't really been doing anything I said I'd do yet. Not because I can't, just because I keep getting really confused trying to work with multiple working copies with different changes etc.. Nothing that I've said I'll work on is for the 0.9.8 release so it's not really a huge deal for the moment, but i'd like to know how others (with read-only access) work with subversion for flyspray. My main problem is, I made some significant changes in the advanced search patch i made that i want to base some new changes on, so the way I see it I have two choices. Option 1. Make the changes to a working copy with the advanced search patch applied. or Option 2. Make the changes to a fresh working copy. The problem with option 1 is that once I've finished the changes for the new feature i then have to go through and figure out all the changes that aren't part of the advanced search patch so that i can create the new patch. The problem with option 2 is that I'd either have to reimplement the stuff i need from the advanced search patch, or copy bits of the advanced search in and then split them out again later. All in all it's just going to be a huge mess, so i've just been avoiding it. If anyone has any suggestions then i'm all ears.
