Need the big picture before I can submit patches

Hi -- I just heard about bugs everywhere, so I downloaded and
installed it into a virtual env.

Is there any walkthrough document anywhere for beginning users?

What about a list of features for the 1.0 release?

I just read this blog entry:
http://blog.printf.net/articles/2008/03/29/bugs-everywhere, and it got
my hopes up.

I'd love to help, but I don't want to write a bunch of code before I
understand the bigger picture.  No sense in banging out features that
don't fit.
