Yeah. It works as you said. Somehow I had such impression to do some
tricky steps to make gdb stop at wherever I want. :P

It could be clocks_in_mhz that causes the problem if you're using kernel
older than 2.4.11 if I'm not mistaken.

Which problem? Not reading the FAQ section of the DULG?

Yes, this seems to be a fairly common problem, but I have no idea how
to fix it.

write_via_fpu() doesn't work?

Hi,

I'm debugging the flash_init(), which is ported from SL8245. Through the
following three lines of code, it always gets wrong result.
	write_via_fpu (&addr[0xaaa8], precmd0);
	write_via_fpu (&addr[0x5550], precmd1);
	write_via_fpu (&addr[0xaaa8], cmdid);

But if I manually write to flash via BDI, it always returns correct
result. Doesn't write_via_fpu() work?

It should be 0x2aaa because the pointer is long type.

eepro100 driver is compatible with Intel 82551ER controller?

Hi,

Does anybody know that the eepro100 driver in u-boot is compatible with
Intel 82551ER fast ethernet controller?

From "Intel(R) 8255x 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Controller Family Open Source
Software Developer Manual", it seems compatible.

"This document is intended for use as a software technical reference
manual for the Intel® 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet controller family, which
includes the 82557, 82558, 82559, 82550, and 82551, as well as the 82562
Platform LAN Connect device. It also contains information for several PCI

u-boot 1.1.1 does NOT work on at91rm9200

hi,
i try to run u-boot 1.1.1 on our custom-board, but it does not start at all.

Our board runs already with u-boot 0.4.0. We use an urloader to do basic
initialization and then unpack u-boot to ram. after u-boot we start linux.
every thing works. 

I transfered our board specific settings from the 0.4 u-boot to the 1.1
u-boot. But u-boot does not start at all.

does anybody had the same problem?

I've build u_boot 1.1.1 for the at91rm9200dk board and it runs well.
Verify that TEXT_ADDR in board/at91rm9200dk/config.mk is compliant with your
load address in sdram.
