Hello List,
We have ported the ppcboot to suit our custom
ppc750 board and we are using Windows Hyperterminal to
see the output. But nothing is appearing on the
hyperterminal. Is there any problem in using
hyperterminal?

With thankx and regards,

Maybe PPCBoot is not running at all? What makes you think PPCBoot is
working when you see no output on the serial console?

Attach a debugger and check which code is running...

My challenge to the goto-less programmer is to recode tcp_input()
without any gotos ... without any loss of efficiency (there has to be
a catch). - W. R. Stevens

[PPCBoot-users] Power PC diagnostics (partly) based on PPCBoot

Hello,

My company (VCT Labs) has developed standalone Power PC diagnostics for
the 855/860T series. They test memory, NVRAM, LEDs, RTCs, and ethernets
(only on SCC1 or the 855/860T FEC). The source code is GPL'd, so feel
free to download it from our web site:
http://www.vctlabs.com/3_powerpc/index.html.

[PPCBoot-users] Compilation error

Hello, could anyone help me with this compilation
error? I modified ppcboot-2.0.0 for a board called
PDk, and I am getting the following compilation error:

rm: 'asm' is directory
make: *** [pdk_config] Error 1

I checked my path and I have power-pc-gcc compiler
avaliable.

I don't know where to start debugging. All suggestions
are welcome

Thank you very much.

regards,
Marwan

Sorry, but it seems my my crystal ball is in dire need of an
ectoplasmic upgrade. I can neither see which version of PPCboot you
are using, nor which CPU this is, nor which modifications you made,
nor anything else. I even have problems locating you. Ah... there you
are... wwoooossshhhhhhhhh! Oops sorrry, wrong button.

Guess: you missed the '-P' option when checking out from the CVS
	 server

Guess 2: your tools are not working
