Translate Zinf into German

Hi

i want to translate Zinf into German. Is it possible that you say, which
files i have to look for?

I'm running the Windows Port of the programm, but i also could try to do all
under Linux, but it would be nice, if I can do that under windows.

Yours
Stephan Eicher

id3 tag's charset autodetection using librcc

hi,

Last year I've already describe the problem here and I've said
about rusxmms patch. But it was ugly and as I understand it - it
was impossible to implement same tags' charset autorecoding in
Zinf.

But! I'm glad to inform zinf developers that rusxmms patch
functionality is available via librcc (Russian Charset
Conversion) library now. An author of the patch made patches for
several apps (like gftp, unzip, ZINF and others) just to show how
use his library. For example
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/rusxmms/zinf-2.2.5-7csa.i586.rpm?download
is a "rusxmms"ed version of Zinf player (linked against librcc).
Looks tempting, doesn't it? :)

Please, visit http://rusxmms.sourceforge.net/ for details.

Looks interesting, You say a patch is available: would you
like to make a patch against the current CVS..

Is there a more generic version available or more
simply how does one add new languages to the recoding
library... is this a simple operation.

I'm not sure that the patch is available. But the rpm package
says that it's possible to add librcc support to zinf, I think.

I'm not experienced programmer, just amateur. I'll try to do
something and if I'll get successful result - I will report you
here.

Bad news.

I've discovered the patch. More exactly - there is only several
fixes against ZINF.
The patch is here
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/rusxmms/id3lib-csa1.tar.bz2?download

Also I've understand that the majority of changes was done
against id3lib. So patched version of the library is needed :(

That's all. I don't know what to say :(
