Zinf on Opteron.

[ Crickets chirping ]

Things have been quite around here. Here's something to wake people up:

I've just compiled zinf on AMD Opteron. Haven't banged on it much, but I
can report that zinf does not appear to have any fatal 64bit-related
defects.  The only issues are:

1) Must compile without optimizations, by manually setting CFLAGS and
CXXFLAGS to "-g", before running configure. Known gcc 3.3 bug, don't know
if it is fixed in gcc 3.4:

http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/libstdc++/2003-06/msg00174.html

Zinf nails this one also, on Opteron.

2) In the main window, the last two or three lines of each text line is
clipped. It's mostly noticable on the playback timer, but also affects the
title and the sampling rate text.

That's pretty cool. Nice to know.

There have been some issues with i386
when compiling -O2 and theme support.

Chris Green mentioned some clippling on 2.2.5 on zinf-users a
while back. I haven't seen it yet.
