easytag doesn't show duplicated tags in mp3 idv2.4 or maybe adding second

a.
1) I get collection of mp3 files encoded in cp1251.
In preferences of easytag i have saving in UTF-8 only v2.4 and reading in
windows-1251.
2) I open directory and see all tags normally.
3) Save all changes.
4) Open in amarok and saw wrong 'artist' tag encoded.
5) Open files in qmmp - all ok.
6) Opening in kid3 shows me two 'artist' tags with different encodings.
b.
If i'm changing in easytag artist to another russian word, file remains with
only one artist tag. Thus i think easytag leaves only one field with right
encoding.

Outcome:
 1) easytag doesn't show 2 artist tags
 2) Maybe it adding second tag instead of overwriting (i haven't got original
mp3 files now).

Re: easytag doesn't show duplicated tags in mp3 idv2.4 or maybe adding second

crash w/Load Filenames from TXT on 2.1.4

Hi, first off I love EasyTag!

I'm having a hard crash whenever I try 'Load Filenames from TXT'. It doesn't matter which tracks and/or text
file I try
this with.

I'm running EasyTag 2.1.4 on Ubuntu 9.03.

Here's a dump I see when it crashes upon hitting 'Apply'.

Re: crash w/Load Filenames from TXT on 2.1.4

Some time ago I was also submitted this bug. I don't remember exactly
but my version was 2.1.6. Unfortunately my call was ignored.

Have a nice day

Hi,

This issue is present in easytag 2.1.6 too (Jérôme said it will be solved in 2.1.7). Temporary fix is to change the line 3330 in file "misc.c". Change:

g_free(currentPath);
to this:

gtk_tree_path_free(currentPath);
and then compile. With this correction, Load filenames from .txt file feature works fine.
