cdparanoia for NRG encapsulated CDDA image

Hi,

Is this project still active? I have added a few lines to nrg.c and cd-paranoia.c to allow myself to directly obtain WAV files from an NRG encapsulated CDDA image. I wonder if it is still possible to contribute the changes into the project so I do not have to maintain a private copy.

Thanks,

Sure it is. Send a patch to either this list or submit it at trac.xiph.org

Thanks for the interest.

cdparanoia for NRG encapsulated CDDA image

cd-paranoia is a port of cdparanoia using libcdio. Alas, it's
maintained as a separate project.

libcdio is always grateful to receive patches and improvements.

If you want to submit a patch, here's the URL for that:
https://savannah.gnu.org/patch/?group=libcdio

The developer mailing list is libcdio-devel <at> gnu.org, but you uneed to
be a member to
post. http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/libcdio-devel is the
starting point.

10pre 1 release?

Hello

I'm curious to know if a 10pre1 release is in the works? I've got a logging patch in subversion for 10pre1 that I'd like to see in broader distribution.

Is there anything I can do to help with the process?

Best,

Dan Schwarz

Re: 10pre 1 release?

Hi!

Sadly, I don't have a lot of time to actually write code anymore...

What held up 10pre1 (is holding up 10pre1) is a 2.6-series kernel bug
that gets transfer direction backwards in the SATA CDROM driver for a
specific packet command used by CDParanoia. Said bug panics the
machine. And I haven't spent the time to look at it in more detail
(would require tracking down such a machine, said machine being
somewhat expendable, and having multiple kernels arranged to test
with).
