Java EE 6 related TCKs including EJB and JPA

Spoke with Ken Saks at JavaOne and he said he was pretty sure there
have been drops of the Java EE 6 related TCKs that they are
distributing to licensees. Note these aren't the final versions as
the specs are not closed, but as I understand they are intended to
allow people to get started and possibly get feedback into the related
specs and TCK before close.

Not entirely sure what the TCK layout is for Java EE 6 given the
plethora of profiles, but I'd like to get my hands on whatever is
available for EJB 3.1 full version and light for OpenEJB/Geronimo; if
that translates to the entire EE 6 tck that's fine. Donald is also
looking to get his hands on what is available for JPA 2.0 for OpenJPA/
Geronimo.

JAX-WS 2.2 and JAX-RS 1.1 would be nice as well for CXF if they are
distributing "pre-release" versions.

Any feedback from Sun on this?

Certify Geronimo with Harmony

As Apache will not get a JSE TCK in the near (long) future, some Harmony project members are looking
back to the idea of certifying Geronimo with Harmony as a JEE-compliant server. Geronimo can now run
happily with Harmony. We also did some free hand testing with a few applications running on this
combination, such Roller, JSPWiki, JForum etc. Everything looks promising!

Does anybody see any legal problems with the above idea? Is it ever possible to certify Geronimo with a
non-certified JSE?

Look forward to some advice! We want to get the ball rolling as soon as possible. Thanks!

Re: Certify Geronimo with Harmony

We could introduce "Harmony Enterprise Edition", consisting of
Harmony+Geronimo, and not mention "Java" at all... ;-)

Cheers
